Kelly's Entrepreneurial Origin Story

From Burned-Out Workaholic to Passionate Pursuits

I desperately needed a change of pace, so I quit my corporate job and started a consulting business to focus on marketing and messaging like I wanted. But launching my own business didn’t go as I expected.

I didn’t start to progress until I could embrace my voice, be bold in my brand, and be brave in communicating the difference I could make in people’s businesses and lives.

The Frustration of Endless Distractions

I spent a lot of time working on the business systems, buying software, and reworking my marketing repeatedly.

Without bringing in sales, this cost me a lot of frustration, time, and money.

I invested in valuable courses and coaches but ended up being distractions from doing what I needed to engage my passion and grow my business.

Amplifying My Voice

One day, my coach was reviewing a marketing piece I had designed, and he observed how I was muting my voice within my sales messaging.

At that moment, I realized I was not bringing my personality and identity into my brand.

With my coach’s help, I discovered the confidence and words to communicate my passion and the value I offer to my clients.

That same month, I enrolled my first consulting client!

Now, I help business owners design systems and marketing that work smoothly for them and generate a profit so, just as I discovered, those things no longer take them away from their passion but rather into their creativity.

In this latter position, Kelly managed all aspects of the non-profit business, from finances to building websites and everything in between. Now, as a solopreneur, she brings her entrepreneurial experiences to serve and support her clients.

As a proponent of mental health, Kelly’s coaching focuses not only on helping entrepreneurs scale their businesses but also seeks to help them discover their authentic voice and break through the barriers holding them back so they can amplify their message in the noisy marketplace.
